Isolde is a classically trained, figurative sculptor who has lived in Italy, The United States and Colombia. She graduated from the Florence Academy of Art in 2006 where she taught Sculpture and Drawings for two years. Her work has been shown throughout Europe and the United States. Her sculptures are in collections throughout the world. Currently her studio is located in Florence, Italy.
Isolde first discovered her passion for the grace and beauty of the human figure during her childhood study of classical dance and it has remained an important influence for her sculpture. Her vision is to create works of art that are life affirming and that can have an emotional relevance to a person's life as they evolve.
Her work during 2008 has been an exploration of a world untouched by cynicism. Where wonder, joy and even fierce loyalty reign. Her desire with these pieces is to awaken or to resonate with the love and gratitude that exists in all humans.
